Why should I provide my real e-mail and phone number when I order? I do not want spam.

    Overstock Silver is a trusted Yahoo store. Both OverstockSilver.com and Yahoo guarantees all of the information you provide us with is kept private. We often get customers who give us false phone numbers or false e-mail addresses and customer service is put in a difficult situation if we need to contact you in regards to your order. If you do not provide the correct e-mail or phone number, we will have no way of contacting you if your credit card information was inaccurate or if an item you ordered is on backorder. You will also never receive your automatic e-mail confirmation, which means you’ll have no record of your order. So please, make it easier for everyone and provide us with your accurate information, and don't worry about spam.

-Why didn’t I receive an e-mail confirmation when I made my order?
    If you did not receive an e-mail once your order was completed, check your spam folder. It is possible your settings are too high for the automatic e-mail response. If the e-mail isn’t in your spam folder please give customer service a call at 1-800-430-0969.

-How will I know if my order has been shipped or not?
    As soon as your item has been shipped out from our warehouse you will receive an e-mail from Yahoo stating that your item has been shipped. In this shipping confirmation e-mail you will find your UPS tracking number. Click on the tracking number and it will give you up to the minute information as to where your order is located.  

    Possible UPS tracking information:

    -Manifest pick-up: This means your order is ready to be shipped and waiting for UPS to pick it up from our warehouse.

    -Pick-up scan: This means it has left our facility and is heading towards you now.
    -In transit: Your order is in transit to your location.
    -Out for delivery- Your item is on its way to your home at this moment. 

    -Exception: This is a rare scenario, however. UPS is re routing your order, due to operating problems on UPS's side. 

    If there is no activity for two days we can help. Please call us at 1-800-430-0969. If your package has been damaged or lost by UPS it takes up to 8-10 business before we can re-ship your order or give you a full credit. However this usually never happens. 


-I placed an order, can I cancel it? What about returning or exchanging items?
    For more information regarding canceling, exchanging, or returning orders please see our Return Policy Page. Please note that it takes 5-10 days for us to review your returned items and for your bank account to be fully credited. You will receive an e-mail when your account has been credited.

-I put the wrong shipping address, or made a mistake on my order, can you change it?

    After you received your order confirmation e-mail and you noticed you have made a mistake with your order, please call us at 1-800-430-0969. If after hours please leave a clear detailed message with your name, phone number, and your order number if available. We will correct the issue immediately!

-I have an international credit card how do I place an order?
    We are a Yahoo store and unfortunately our system can not support international credit cards. Visa & MasterCard are the only two cards that we can accept from card holders world wide.

 

-How long does it take to receive my order?

    Most orders are shipped the same or next business day. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a UPS tracking number via email. If any of the items are unavailable, in this e-mail you will receive all of the detailed information of what items were shipped and which items are on backorder. -I place an item in my shopping cart, and when I go to check out it disappears ?
    This problem occurs very rarely. This is an issue with the particular web browser you are using, however we are working with Yahoo to correct this issue. In the mean time please call us at 1-800-430-0969 and we will gladly take your order over the phone.

-How do I find my ring size?
    Having trouble trying to figure out what your ring size is? Take a look at our Ring Size Chart for more help. 

-Do you design the jewelry?
    No, we have jewelry suppliers from all over the world. However we are always up to date with the latest jewelry trends.  

-Do you make custom orders?
    Yes, you must contact one of our customer service representatives at 1-800-430-0969 in regards to custom orders.


-What is the difference between gold vermeil and gold plated?

    Gold plated is usually a metal such as brass or nickel or any other type of metal covered with electroplated gold. Gold vermeil is sterling silver covered with electroplated gold and is higher in quality. It is also the best option for those people who have allergic reactions to metal jewelry.

-Do you have an actual store?

    YES! We have an actual retail storefront in Maryland.

-Do you offer wholesale?
    Yes, if you are interested in becoming a wholesale buyer please see our Wholesale Information. Please note that the return policy for wholesalers is different than the regular consumer’s policy.

- How can I get a coupon?
    Sign up on for our E-mail Newsletter and keep updated on special sales only available through our newsletter. Every time we have a new sale you will receive an e-mail newsletter with a new coupon code. As a special bonus, when you first sign up for our newsletter you are automatically sent your first coupon code for 10% off your purchase!  

-Where do I enter my coupon code?
    Once you’ve put all of the items you would like to buy in your shopping cart, you will begin the checkout process. This is when the system will ask you for a coupon code, enter the code then.

We are always up to date on the newest trends in jewelry and we are always on the hunt for jewelry that is similar to the famous designers’ style. Our jewelry is NOT stamped with designer names. Our jewelry comes from designers from all over the world and we choose each design and style based on the popularity.

Do you have a catalog?

    Unfortunately, no. We get supplies from all over the world every single day. The best way to keep up to date on the newest items is check out our New Arrivals Page. By the time you would receive a catalogue we would have already stocked up on hundreds of new items. Our e-mail newsletter is the best way to keep updated on storewide sales, coupons, new arrivals, etc.   
     
What is rhodium?
    The majority of our jewelry is either plated or coated with rhodium to prevent unwanted scratches and tarnishes.  

Do you offer nickel-free jewelry?
    We get our jewelry from hundreds of suppliers from all over the world. The majority of our jewelry is nickel free but if it does not state it in the item description it is not a guarantee that the item is nickel free. One of the biggest myths about allergic reactions to jewelry is that it is an allergy to the jewelry itself. In most cases it’s actually the cleanser you are using for your jewelry. Be sure to test your new cleanser before you clean all of your jewelry. Dab a q-tip or napkin into the cleanser and test a small area of your skin. Wait a few hours before cleansing all of your jewelry if you’ve noticed there isn't a negative reaction to the cleanser.  

 

I received an e-mail stating that my item is on backorder, what does this mean exactly?

    We get so many items a day and run low on items it's very difficult to keep up to  the minute information on our site. If your items are on back order it can take 2-4  weeks to receive your item. Of course this amount of time will vary. You have  several options.
      • You can keep your item on backorder and wait till you items is available again.
      • You can choose another item in replace of the one you purchased. If there is a price difference you will either be credited or charged.
      • You can simply cancel that particular item if you do not wish to wait for it or change it.

 

When will my backorder item get shipped?

    As soon as we get the item back in our warehouse you will receive an e-mail stating your item was shipped. All backorder items are shipped UPS ground shipping, free of charge.

 

What are CZ stones?

    Cubic Zirconium or Cubic Zirconia as it is often refereed to as, is a mineral that is  often used in replace of real diamonds. It is made to look and feel like the real  thing. It was discovered and used as the best alternative to the real thing. It is  significantly cheaper, can be molded into the famous diamond shapes such as  emerald cut, princess cut, and ascher cut. One of the best advantages of having a  cz stone is that cubic zirconium can be made into any color, unlike diamonds.  Another great advantage is that cubic zirconium stones truly do look like the real  thing. Even the wealthiest people on the planet wear cubic zirconium stones  because it is a great way to keep up with the trends.

 

Why am I receiving double charges on my credit/debit cards?

    This always happens when your purchase is pending. Wait till the order clears with your bank and you will see that you have only been charged once.
